Also, not everyone is Christian or should have to follow Christian rules, regardless of their interpretation. Not to mention marriage is NOT a Christian institution; it existed long before Christianity did. Christians just adopted the practice and put their own spin on it. Atheists can get married. So do people who believe in a non-Christian God. 

Also banning gay marriage won’t eliminate gay sex, so your argument is invalid from the start.
